Services

New Hope offers a range of services including residential treatment, therapeutic group home, extended day treatment, day school, prevention program, school-based programming and a transitional living program. New Hope is licensed by the Department of Children and Families, the Department of Public Health, and the State Department of Education. Funding is provided by the State of Connecticut (Department of Children & Families), Local Education Associations (LEA's) through tuition, the Town of Manchester (to include the Manchester Housing Authority), the United Way, private and foundation grants, and private giving.

We utilize relationship models of treatment in all of our programs. Our belief is that our clientele need skills in building and maintaining healthy relationships, and these models not only help to build these skills but it is our core belief that is the relationship that will help these young women move forward. Our programs are designed to foster personal growth, enhance self esteem and self respect while acquiring the skills necessary to be independent. We encourage family involvement in the therapeutic process, whenever possible, as a motivating tool and a measure of success for both the client and New Hope.
